EyeLash Strips vs. Individual Lashes
I love Lashes!! Although I prefer faux lashes, my natural lashes are long and curly so I can rock my own as well. Faux lashes are a bit more dramatic and my personality is a bit dramatic:) so we (me & my trusty lashes) have a great relationship LOL. Why wear false lashes in the first place? Well lashes give women a more feminine-star studded appeal and they are great for giving your eyes a bolder more "open" look.
There is a huge variety of lash extensions on the market: from very natural--to extremely dramatic. I have tried them all!!
Eyelash Strips: I love the versatility of strips. I like that you can remove them easily and you don't have to sleep in them nightly because if you sleep in them you run the risk of them having a very "balled up look" if you mistakenly sleep on your face. If you are in a deep slumber you CAN'T control how you rest so this is one less thing that you need to have on your mind right? I'm definitely not wasting any good sleep because of some lashes! Since they are easy to remove you can change up the style as much as you like. Some days you may want to sport a natural curl and if your going out for a night on the town then you many what to wear your studded lashes or glitter lashes. Like I said I have them ALL!! How long to they last? Can you wear them multiple times?
I'm going to be honest, I normally don't wear the same strips for more than a day. I take them off at bedtime and I may wear them one more time if possible. You can't always wear them again because of the glue on the actual band, if you can't remove the glue from the band it tends to NOT stick properly after the first use.
Individual Lashes: Individual Lashes have their perks as well. They come in a few different lengths: short, medium and Long. When I get individuals of course I choose the longest ones because once again I'm dramatic. I tried putting on my own on one occasion and I didn't really have the patience so I decided to go and get them professionally done. The glue for individuals is different from strips. The glue for individuals is made to last alot longer. I don't recommended trying this glue on strips because of the durability. If your strips end up "balling up" after you sleep in them and you can't take them off then it kinda defeats the purpose of having that versatility in being able to change your strips daily right? To make a long story short DON'T use the glue for individuals on your scripts!!How long did they last?
When I got my individuals done the first time I was happy and satisfied with the way they look. I could sleep in them, they were waterproof and they lasted about 3 weeks before I went back for a fill-in. Yes you have to go in for a fill-in because naturally the glue is going to soften on some of your lashes.
The second and third times I got them professionally done I was absolutely IN LOVE!! They were so FULL and long. One thing I did notice is that they didn't last as long when I got them super "full".
Tips for "Full Strips": Do you like a full look to your lashes? You can achieve this look if you are a "strips" lover as well. The trick is taking a a half of strip and putting it ON TOP of your first pair. Make sure you apply it to the end of your eye and it will give your scripts a little more drama. This trick is great for a night outand special occasions. If you haven't tried to wear lashes yet, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR???? Once you do it you will love it!!! It's convenient in so many ways as well as enhancing your beauty! Get them done by a professional (strips or individuals) the first time and I guarantee you will not be disappointed:)

Being Focused is not an Option
When you want something bad enough then being "focused" is simply NOT an option. It's Mandatory. You don't have a choice. Nobody said it was going to be easy but the best things in life just don't come easy. Yes you are going to get tired and even overwhelmed sometimes but if you have tunnel vision on your dreams, your dedication is going to pay off. I suffer with the "do it myself" syndrome lol. I want to micro manage and do it all myself. Realistically this is not possible for a brand or business. You can't do it all. You have to build with a trusted partner or team. You can't be CEO, design, advertising, marketing, sales, admin and etc., you have to learn to let go, spread your wings and fly. That's the toughest thing for me to do. I know in order to expand you have to delegate different departments to candidates qualified to be reputable agents of your company. I understand that but the challenge is in 'finding' the people with the love and passion equivalent to yours. I can't settle for anything less.

The patio door is open… the ocean air is coming in and making my pretty nipples soooo hard. Tonight there’s the biggest brightest fullest moon glowing and its illuminating our frames as we stand semi naked in the door way. The smell of the ocean waves are hypnotizing my senses. We are in our own little private bungalow and have the freewill to fuck right outside if the mood leads us there.

Marilyn Monroe the movie
On November 23 "My week with Marilyn" will be in theaters!! I'm so excited because Marilyn Monroe is the hottest trend this fall season!! She is truly a fashion icon even decades after her untimely death. Celebs such as Gwen Stefani, Rihanna, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga have all had Marilyn moments recently, proving the icon is just as relevant and inspirational in the present as she has been in the past (MarilynMonroe.com) She is one of America's most celebrated beauties and it's easy to see why.
She was years beyond fashion and today the industry is still catching up to the iconic dresses that she so gracefully adorned the cameras with. Many have been auctioned off and others are museum collectibles. She is still a Hollywood legend and Michelle Williams did an Oscar winning performance in showing this superstar's captivating aura. I'm claiming this as an acedemy award winning performance because when looking at the trailer for the film you really feel like you are watching Ms. Monroe in the flesh. It's utterly amazing!
Horror Movies
I be damn if I'm watching a Horror Movie. I think I was damaged as a child because my parents used to watch Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street with the volume on 3000 too late at night for me. As a matter of fact I KNOW I was damaged because I'm having flashbacks as I type this. I remember being afraid to go to sleep because the images of those movies were so fresh in my memory and the mere thought of closing my eyes in a dark room left me beyond frightened. That was over 20 years ago and I'm still scorned today.
I take my sequined hat off to those who have the heart to sit through something so spiritually overwhelming. YES!!! It's overwhelming to my damn spirit LOL!! It's that serious to me! I got a lot of heart when it comes to a lot of things in life but if you make me sit down and watch a horror movie I'm going to be a scared ass little kid! People are raving over "Paranormal Activity 3", I'm glad folks like it because I did'nt watch 1 or 2 and GOTS NO PLANS TO!! I'm a firm believer in the supernatural and I personally want no parts of it! I'm not playing with nothing dead because it can't die again and I love my life too much to be provoking death. LOL maybe it's not that serious but dammit Again I say it's that serious to me!
Ya'll go ahead and indulge and let me know how it was because that's as close to knowing the details of the movie that I'm going to come!
At Any Moment your Life Can Change
Just when you thought you had it all figured out, everything in your life can change JUST LIKE THAT! Everything that you are accustomed to can be gone. Everything that you are familiar with can be altered. Your comfort zone can become totally nonexistent in a moments notice. Who the hell is even mentally prepared for something so drastic? Sometimes these changes are results of something you, yourself have caused. What we need to understand is that for every cause there is an effect. Of course somethings are beyond our control but in this post I'm strictly referring to the decisions we choose to make.
Sometimes we make plans too far in advance and honestly that may not be what's best for you. Some people live by the theory that "what's suppose to happen is gonna happen". I personally like that theory because it makes life easier in letting us know that "we" aren't always in control. In your decision making you MUST absolutely consider all parties involved or what you have planned may blow up in your face. You have to think things through before making moves. When you don't know what to do, just don't do nothing at all.
At any moment your life can change and if you are logical in your thinking then the outcome will be in your favor.

my Pandora Obsession
What are some of you're favorite artists? I need music DAILY!!! I'm always in my R&B mood and without music I think my life would be a little more stressful. Music makes me relax and it calm my nerves. I spend a lot of my time online and when I'm online 90% of the time I'm working. I'm a serious multi-tasker so I love to combine my work with a little bit of music. This is the reason I have an obsession with Pandora radio. Pandora is a free internet radion station that allows you to listen to your favorite artist's station and music that they may listen to. Its interactive in letting you add profile information to personalize your Pandora community, its gives you the lyrics to most of the songs and album information to the song that's playing. I love it.

iPhone 4 update
You remember a few weeks ago I told you all about my iphone horror story right? Well, it took Mac 3 weeks to call me and tell me that my replacement phone finally came in. Interesting right? Well, I picked it up and I'm back in love again lol. If it stays in working order than I will be glad to report that I finally have a phone that I have no issues with and that I completely adore. My Review of Beyonce's Album 4
Ok by this time you've all have already heard Beyonce's Album 4. I've had it for a while but truthfully after I heard it the first time I didn't really like it so I put it back on my shelf. Somethings take a while to grow on you and with this album this was the case for me.Foolishly I didn't realize that I loved the album until I noticed that I knew all the songs from hearing them so many times on the radio. With that said I went back to my trusty self, dusted off my CD and popped it in. Song after song a sista was ROCKIN, JAMMIN, GROOVING and some moe stuff LOL!! I like 90% of the songs and after all this time I can now say this was a good purchase! If you haven't gotten your copy then pick it up today.

The Perfect Wedding
What's your ideal wedding? Every little girl's dream is to have a gorgeous wedding surrounded by loved ones, the families and friends....
Right? Maybe not...
I never really got the point of having a lavish, over the top, exclusive wedding just to show off for your peeps. I didn't understand why people would want to waste hard earned money for other's to witness THEIR commitment in 'Love'. I was always the type that would rather use those funds to honeymoon and pamper one another, I didn't want to waste it away on "showcasing" my vows.
Hmmmm interesting right? Actually I never saw the big deal of a big wedding until recently. I guess I'm getting older and more mature. Now when I think about the "perfect" wedding I think about gazing into my partner's eyes on a beautiful costal beach with simple but elegant decorations and just enough family and friends to keep the mood intimate. I think about the peaceful open atmosphere of a beach that's not confined by walls, rules or religion. I think about the sounds of the waves crashing and the gentle breeze blowing up my wedding dress. I'm even bold enough to wear all white again lol. The pureness in my white will represent the pureness in the Love I have for my spouse. I think about the warm sand in between my manicured toes as I walk slowly towards my soon-to-be. I think about a Live pianist playing and singing softly as my close friends smile at me and choke back tears in their bridesmaid attire. I think about my soon-to-be standing there looking at me in amazement as the groomsmen dap him up in agreement.
I think about sharing a moment of Love with the ones I love...

These Eyes
What do I see through these eyes?Things I don't agree with, somethings I will never understand, things I don't approve of and other's I can't comprehend.
In my 28 years I have witnessed first hand how cruel this world can be but IRONICALLY...
I've also witnessed and felt true Love.
I'm a true sucker for love. I'm in love with being in love but I love the raw form of it. I don't agree with forced attraction and imitation affection...I need that Real ishh!! That when I look at you my panties get wet, that when I hear you, my knees get weak, that-when you touch me my eyes roll in the back of my head and I began to see Stars.... I'm talking about Real, Raw, Pure, Uncut, Bonafide LOVE!
