Coping with Pain

Life doesn't come with a "how-to" manual but life's experiences teach us how to deal with certain issues should they ever arise again. Pain is an emotion that we all are familiar with but are we all able to "cope" with it? Is there an easy way?

Some say time heals all wounds. Some say you should avoid situations that could potentially cause you emotional harm. Well we all know that somethings are beyond our control and if you're not psyshic and you can't see the future then you can't always 'avoid' certain situations. Some things are going to just happen that will ROCK u to the core. At that point you have no choice but to embrace it. Deal wit it. Let those tears flow. Then simply Let Go.

It sounds easier said than done but it is doable and that's a fact. Don't carry baggage around longer than you need to because it may cause stress. Stress is not good for the human body and is known for taking good people to an early grave. You have to learn to let some things go.

What are some things you can do to help you cope with pain?
I always tell people to first OWN IT for what it is. That's the only way you can start the healing process. Don't sugar coat it. Don't dress it up nice and pretty, you have to just recognize it for what it is because identifying the problem is the quickest way to work towards a solution.

Next, you have to release the pain. Cry it out, talk it out, take that weight off your shoulders by laying the issue flat out on the table and exposing it. You can't keep throwing a rug over trash and think that's the way to clean it up. Just because you cover it up doesn't mean that it goes away. RELEASE that pain!

After the hard part is over, now it's time to GET OVER IT! Start to occupy your mind with other activities. When you are busy you won't have time to wallow in your pity. We have all heard the expression "OUT OF SIGHT, OUT OF MIND". Before you know it you will be emotionally free. It definitely won't come overnight but you will know when that wound has healed over your heart. It probably will be when you least expect it.

Free your mind and the rest will follow, you have nothing to lose in this life BUT Everything to Gain...try to following these small tips when coping with pain.

Sex Language

What's your Sex Language?

Don't you know that in order for you to be completely satisfied you have to communicate your Sex Language to your partner. Women sometimes drop the ball (no pun intended) in this area because we fear the consequences. "Maybe he will get mad". "He may not want to be with me anymore". "He's going to think he's not doing a good job".

We come up with a million reasons why we won't open our mouth and tell our partners how to please us. At the end of the love making session we are the ones missing out if you are too afraid to communicate how you "like it". No need to be scared because if your partner is not willing to please you then there's really no point in laying with them anyway!! If they are all for "self" then let them make love to themselves!!

Are you a talker? Do you like it rough? Are you are sensual lover? Where's your G-Spot? Have you ever had an orgasm? What areas on your body drive you crazy? Are there areas on your body that you want left ALONE? What's your limit? What won't you do? Do you like to cuddle afterwards? Do you enjoy 4 play? Is "oral" a requirement? Are you a minute man? Do you enjoy quickies? Are you a spontaneous lover that like it ANYWHERE...kitchen counter, bedroom floor, back seat in the whip...etc?

It's not what we say, it's "how" we say it. You can effectively communicate with your mate during dinner, movies on the couch night, in the car on the way to the store or WHEREVER you two have that awkward moment of silence when you don't have nothing else to talk about anyway!! I bet this will FOR SURE open up a few hours of dialogue between the two of you LOL!!

Sex Language!! U better Try it!

What's the point of Blogging

Writing is my therapy.

It's helps me release my thoughts, my pain, my pleasures and I often like to go back and reflect on those things so in order to do that it's essential that I jot those thoughts down. I always loved writing as a child and as a teenager I was always told that I had a gift for it.

I won all types of writing awards, had one of my poems entitled "A Teenage Wish" published in a poetry anthology when I was 15 and been keeping a journal every since. I noticed as a teenager that this was really my passion.

Ultimately my goal is to be a full time career writer of some sort, preferably product critiquing because I'm great at persuasion and I would also love to be a New York Times Best Selling Author. I'm currently working towards those goals and the journey is rather fulfilling.

What's the point of Blogging? Blogging goes hand in hand with what I mentioned above. The bonus to me is my readers actually getting something from my posts! I get so happy when I get emails and comments from my loyal readers, to know that my words are helping someone feels truly amazing!

To make a long story short...I write to free my mind, that's the point of Blogging.

Stimulation

Stimulation: the act of arousing an organism to action.
Whoaaa The power of Stimulation!! If you possess the power to arouse an individual into action you can have just about ANYTHING you desire! The definition is powerful in itself and self explanatory. I'm a person that needs constant stimulation, that's what I give so that's what I seek. Stimulation is equivalent to Motivation in my book.

If you can stimulate my mind then you can move my body and if you move my body you may conquer my heart, IF you conquer my heart, you may connect with my soul. Nothing is more powerful than Mind Control. You need to understand that when you learn the art of seduction and master it you will have your mate forever connected to you. Even if they stray, NOONE will be able to compare to the Love you dish out so they will always come back BUT only if you want them back.

To posses this Art you first must posses a bundle of confidence. Confidence is key!! People are intimated by confidence because this is where so many others are lacking. You have this and you are one step ahead of the rest. As you mature and get older you will see how important this is. Physical stimulation is only temporary. Mental stimulation lasts forever!

Moving Day

Finally settled!!!
Just moved out of my huge house into something more intimate and controllable. LOL, yes I used the word controllable because my last home was so BIG I had to hire "the help" to assist me in maintaining it and keep it clean. I was exhausted and completely done with the responsibility of having something so overwhelming so I decided to downsize just a wee-bit:)

Moving is exhausting in itself isn't it!!! Talk about drained...I AM BEAT! I did so much of the work myself because my husband has so many jobs and really couldn't be there to take on his share of the work. After all the packing and moving some boxes my brothers came through and completely took over the remainder of the work. THANK GOD FOR THEM!!! I was stressed, aggravated and in a horrible mood because I just wanted to snap my fingers like a genie and be done with the whole process. In some ways I feel like God granted me that wish when my brothers showed up with smiles on their faces, full of energy and ready to work:)

Let's face it, who likes the actual moving process? My brothers came and worked faster that any moving company could've and that was after they left their own jobs working a double shift!! I have a whole new respect for them. A few hours later they were done and my headache is over:)

So what are the TOP 5 things needed for a Stress-Free Inexpensive Move?
First- you need you Get packing supplies/tools. Get more than enough boxes because it's always better to have more than enough than "not enough".
You don't have to be all fancy and get special boxes either. A box is a box lol. Some people like to get those kitchen boxes that separates their glassware with little dividers. Ugh PLEASE! Save yourself a dime or two and wrap those glasses/plates up in some newspaper! They will be just as safe.

Second- Find some packing help! Grab a spouse/friend and start with one room at a time. My best friend Monique Yesenia came through without me even asking and starting packing. I'm so lucky to have a BFF like her. We sat down and discussed what we were going to work on first. It's easier when you have some direction of what you are actually doing. When you do one room at a time you start to see some progress and that does wonders for you mentally lol.

Third-Call your city's free trash removal service and schedule a pickup of the items that you are not taking. Instead of throwing away things that you don't want anymore call the Salvation Army and have them come and collect those items.

Forth-Set up your Moving Service. Call a moving company and reserve a truck at least 6-7days before your move. Don't forget to get a dolly as well, it helps move your boxes faster saving you 50% of the time.

Fifth-If you didn't hire men to help you move then call some male friends/fam at least a week in advance to assist you. Nobody likes last minute requests for help so be sure to get that out the way asap!!

Take this advice and your Moving Day will be a little less stressful than mine was lol!!
Ok I wish you a Happy Moving Day....and I do mean "Happy" :)

New Year, New You (Contest)

As I lay here and reminisce on this years events and accomplishments and replay my progress, I can truly say I am pleased. Of course life has had it's ups and downs but overall I conquered them and I'm still here standing tall. Each year I aim to improve. In order for me to feel fulfilled then I must move forward yearly. I hate to stay stagnated in the same position.

Around this time of year is when I begin to gather my new short-term goals and I also begin to reconstruct my vision board. I'm a true visionary. I've revamped by blog look for 2012 and I will be rolling out my new website in a few weeks. Turning my thoughts into reality serves as a challenge to me and I really get a natural high from it. I'm going to be doing a seminar soon implementing some of these practices of mine so please stay tuned for more info on that.

Ok...New Year, New You.
I like to go into the new year---NEW! Since we are entering this new beginning of course I have decided to do some new things with my look. I've started off by highlighting my hair. I swear by curly hair. It is the absolute most easiest way get away with NOT doing your hair everyday. It's extremely low maintenance and literally a wake-up-and-go style. I have been curly for a year now and honestly I only have to tease my curls maybe once every 3 days and I don't have to add ANY KIND of product to it whatsoever. It last about 6weeks before needing a redo. I have the invisible part in the front courtesy of my sister Tiquerra Brown and the rest is a sew in. This time around I added highlights which really looks great with my skin tone and it also lighten my complexion.

Next...the "Stiletto Nail". This pointy nail is a popular trend in music videos from some of the industry's top performers such as Beyonce, Lady GaGa, Rihanna, and Fergie, just to name a few. You will hear them being referred to a stiletto nails, fang nails, almond nails, pointy and etc. Only true fashionistas can appreciate them by rocking them and representing the style well. I'm a trendsetter so this is my current design and I have been getting compliments on them like KRAZZZZYYYYY!! I'm truly in LOVE with them. An all white nail is soooo Red Carpet and the glitter gives the style just a hint of personality. The Ladies are loving this look.

Ok that's Vee...Be sure to share your New Year, New You Stories for your chance to win something FABB out of my Fierce Cosmetic Haul!! I want to hear from you:) Submit your 2-3 paragraph comments below and I will be announcing the winner on January 1, 2012. Don't wait, submit it today:)
Happy New Year!!
